A Jurassic Experience Awaits!

You are welcomed to a Jurassic Experience like no other at Portsmouth Comic Con – International Festival of Comics at Portsmouth Guildhall on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th June.

In an exciting new feature for 2023, dinosaur devotees and fans of the Jurassic Park film franchise are invited to step inside the park gates to a world of fun and fascination complete with a cheeky T-Rex, dino babies and stage show, the chance to sit behind the wheel of a Jurassic Jeep, see and touch real dinosaur bones and create your own hatching dinosaur to take home!

In a series of meet and greet opportunities throughout the weekend you will meet Zoom, a terrific 2 year old T-Rex who will bring laughter and smiles through lots of mischief and mayhem with the chance to meet some super cute dino babies. For those willing to rise to the challenge of training a dinosaur, join us for an interactive and educational stage show on Sunday which is full of song, dance and slapstick chaos.

Discover more about dinosaurs and the pre-historic age in an exhibition by Dinosaur Isle Museum from the Isle of Wight with a chance to talk to the experts and touch a range of real fossils and dinosaur bones.

Plus, with thanks to Baileys Jurassic Jeep and South Coast Jurassic you can sit behind the wheel of a Jurassic Jeep and then create your own hatching dinosaur to keep in an arty workshop led by Lawn of the Dead.

The Jurassic Experience is just one part of the largest family-friendly Comic Con of its kind which presents the best in comic, film, TV and pop culture entertainment in a full and fun day out for all the family.
