Portsmouth Comic Con, the biggest Comic Con on the South Coast, returns to Portsmouth Guildhall on 2-3 May, bringing you the best in comic, film, TV and Pop Culture entertainment, with special features for 2020; ‘A Celebration of Female Superheroes’ (Saturday) and ‘A World of Witchcraft and Wizardry’ (Sunday).   

An impressive Artists Alley, welcoming some of the greatest artists and writers in the industry, alongside stars of the screen and the wonderful world of cosplay is complemented with incisive panels, exhibitions, displays, workshops, a Comic City and Village full of merch and interactive fun in the form of VR, robots, steampunk, retro and board gaming and more!
If you’re serious about comics, love Marvel films, Star Wars, cult series like Dr Who or simply looking for a family fun day out – this is the event for you!

There is gentle ramp access into our main foyer for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. From the main foyer you can access the stalls, our café and lifts to all other floors. Our staff can advise on the best routes and access points at the time of booking or on your arrival.

Portsmouth Guildhall has accessible toilets on the Basement level which can be accessed by lifts on both sides of the main foyer areas.

Hearing and Guide dogs are welcome but please inform Box Office at the time of booking.

There are a very limited number of on street parking spaces outside the venue.

Food & Drink

There will be a number of bars and catering outlets at Comic Con and Guildhall Café will be serving a range of hot and cold drinks and snacks!

Please note Food & Drinks brought externally will not be allowed on the premises and Guildhall Café will not be open to non-ticket holders on this day.


How To Get To Us

By Car
There is easy access into Portsmouth on the M275 from Junction 12 of the M27, with links to the M3 and A3 connecting the city with Southampton, Chichester, London and beyond.

There is a Park & Ride service situated at a purpose built location on the M275 entrance to Portsmouth.

Isambard Brunel Multi Storey Car Park has 460 spaces and is 200m from Portsmouth Guildhall.

There are a very limited number of on street parking spaces outside the venue.

Blue Badge holders are exempt from pay and display charges in Portsmouth City Council owned car parks – just display your badge. This is not the case with NCP owned car parks or the Isambard Brunel Multi Storey car park.


By Train
Portsmouth Guildhall is just a couple of minutes walk from Portsmouth & Southsea Train Station with frequent services operating from London Waterloo, Southampton and Brighton.

By Bus
Local and regional bus services stop at Commercial Road City Centre which is a 5 minute walk from Portsmouth Guildhall.

National coach services will stop at The Hard Interchange, a 15 minute walk or short taxi ride away.
