We’re pleased to announce that Portsmouth Ghostbusters and Southend-On-Sea Ghostbusters will be bringing all of the Ghostly fun to this year’s Portsmouth Comic Con!
See all of your favourite Ghostbusters characters, with costumes from the original 1984 film, right up to the most recent in the franchise, Frozen Empire. Plus, proton packs, slime blowers, ghost traps and even more props from the movies! On Saturday at the Con, fans are invited to join the ranks of the Ghostbusters in their best costumes for a special group photo on the steps by the iconic Ecto-1 vehicle.
Portsmouth Comic Con 2025 will also feature a wide range of interactive Ghostbusters activities, including Ghost Hunts where young fans can investigate the venue to uncover hidden spooks and spectres. Competitions such as Best Kids Outfit, Best Modified Proton Pack, and Best Ghostbusters Crossover Costume will also be held, giving fans the chance to showcase their creativity and passion. Talks and Q&A sessions with the team will also offer fans an exclusive insight into the Ghostbusters universe!
In addition to the Ghostbusters experience, Portsmouth Comic Con will also be the venue for a Pokémon Trading Card Game extravaganza hosted by the Portsmouth Pokémon League. Throughout the weekend, fans can take part in Learn-to-Play sessions, perfect for beginners looking to get started, or for seasoned players looking to refine their skills. Everyone who participates will receive a special promo card, and attendees will have the chance to speak with Pokémon Professors about the competitive Pokémon scene and local Pokémon League locations, providing the perfect opportunity to start a new hobby and connect with fellow fans.
