Ned Hartley is the writer of Bananaman for the Beano, Cadet Dredd for 2000AD and the Steel Commando for Monster Fun comic.

Ned has written several graphic novels and books about comics including the Marvel Atlas, the Spider-Man Museum, Great Lives: Albert Einstein and the upcoming Marvel: The Science of Super Heroes. He has also written several non-fiction books for children such as the Ladybird Big Book of Dead Things and Together We Can.

He lives in London with his wife and two kids who sometimes help him write comics – you can tell because those are the good ones.
