Michael Whiteley has worked on a number of films as a prop builder, including Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Titanic, Indiana Jones (skeletons, beetles, human skin, necklace of thumbs, monkey heads), and Star Wars (Return of the Jedi) (Ewok drums, Max Rebo Keyboard/Organ, and Taun Taun), as well as building props for a number of West End productions such as Phantom of the Opera, Starlight Express, and Cats.

In his semi-retirement, he has built an exact full-size replica Taun Taun that featured in the Star Wars film “Empire Strikes Back.” Visitors can sit on the Taun Taun and have their photo taken too. (See attached photos)

Michael will also bring along original photos from the Taun Taun build, as well as other items, including a replica monkey head from the Indiana Jones film “Temple of Doom”. He will also be answering questions from visitors as well as signing autographs and selling some merchandise.
