Roger Langridge has been a comic book writer and cartoonist for over thirty years.

He has worked on titles such as Thor: The Mighty Avenger, The Muppet Show Comic Book, Fin Fang Four, Doctor Who Magazine, Popeye, Mandrake the Magician, John Carter of Mars, Rocky and Bullwinkle, The Rocketeer, Gross Point, Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, 2000AD, Deadline Magazine, The Goon, Bill and Ted Are Doomed, and no doubt others he’s forgotten.

As well as working on properties owned by other people, he has maintained a steady output of his own work, notably Zoot!, Art d’Ecco (with Andrew Langridge), The Fez, Fred the Clown, Criminy (with Ryan Ferrier), Abigail and the Snowman, The Baker Street Peculiars (with Andy Hirsch), and his Eisner Award-winning series Snarked!.

Recent projects include writing the Darkwing Duck spinoff series Justice Ducks for Dynamite (with art by Carlo Lauro) and drawing a graphic novel, The Prohibition Era (written by Jason Viola), which is coming out in 2024 as part of First:Second Books’ “History Comics” line.

In addition to all of this, Roger posts daily strips to his Patreon page, which can be found at www.patreon.com/hotelfred. He has self-published three collections of these strips to date, with a fourth ready to go later in the year.
