Joker Squad return to Portsmouth Comic Con in 2025 with their immersive Star Wars Experience. More details coming soon! Expect the usual incredible characters and photo ops, including Land Speeders and across-universe droids, PLUS a new stage experience including a Star Wars Cantina and games of Sabbac!

We’re stepping up our Bookish content for 2026’s event, with Author Guests, Pigeon Books, Signings, Book Swaps, a Reading Corner, Bookish merch, & more! Bookish Block will be taking over the Square Kitchen cafe with everything literature-related – reading lovers rejoice!

NHS England and Diafight

We’re teaming up with leading diabetes specialists from Queen Alexandra Hospital, University Hospital Southampton & DiaFight to raise awareness of type 1 diabetes (T1D) through the power of comics and games.

Paint and take workshop

The process of sitting down with a brush, some paint and a blank canvas and leaving with a little piece of art you created, is a magical feeling! In 2024, Everstromn Hobbies will be joining us and giving fans a chance to experience exactly that. Get to paint a miniature mystical figurine and take it home to forever remember this moment.

Ghostbusters experience

Join Portsmouth Ghostbusters and Southend-On-Sea Ghostbusters for an immersive experience for fans of the film franchise! Attendees will be able to see a full-size replica Ecto-1 and a host of props and characters allowing them to relive the 80s cultural phenomenon and the antics of New York’s eccentric ghost catchers. PLUS! An attempt to gather as many 'Busters' as possible at one event!

Pokemon League

Portsmouth Pokémon League will host Pokémon Trading Card Game learn-to-play sessions throughout the weekend. Everyone’s invited! Battle and receive a special promo card. Speak with Pokémon Professors about the world of competitive Pokémon and the local Pokémon League locations you can visit to spark a new hobby and connect with new friends
